Women's Ugg Australia Bipster

Feel at home even if you're traveling with the Bipster slipper from UGG Australia. This update to the Roo slipper has a sheepskin upper and a decadent sheepskin footbed that naturally wicks moisture away and keeps feet dry and comfy. A rubber sole gives added durability and traction.

Neck ties can easily get damaged and soiled if you are not careful. You don't want to show up in a dinner party with a two-tone tie. Or present in a meeting with a wrinkled neckwear. You may not be aware, but your tie is your silent charm. It may sometimes stay in your suit but it is the "thing" that compliments you. So why not find time to treat it well?

Here are some simple tips which may help you keep your tie nice and neat:

USING AND STORING

Untie your neck tie in reverse procedure when taking it off. It should come off the way it went on.
Pulling the knot loose will damage it.
Do not leave your tie knotted when not in use. It can damage the tie and can cause permanent wrinkles.
Hang it on a rack designed for ties or in your closet. It helps prevent wrinkling the material. Do not use hangers because it will slip or twist and will fall off.
A knit tie should be gently rolled and stored in the drawer else it could be stretched. Roll it from the narrow end and leave it for a couple of days to easily remove wrinkles.
A silk tie will lose its wrinkles if placed in the closet hanging.
Do not store it out particularly in the light. It fades easily.
If you are going on a long business trip or traveling with ties in the luggage, prepare them properly. Loosely roll the ties and place them inside a pair of socks or use a tie case.
Do not wear similar tie everyday. It needs time to return to its normal shape.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING

Cut any loose thread on your tie with scissors. Do not pull them out. Pulling the thread will cause major damage to your tie.
Do not roll up your tie unless it's a knit tie. It will damage the lining inside.
Do not wash your tie. Most ties shrink unevenly when washed because the materials used inside the tie shrinks in different rates.
Do not dry-clean your tie. The inside material of the tie will get damaged. If the material is silk, it will lose its luster.
Do not press your tie. It can cause the surface flattened and the material shiny. However, if it's really necessary to press the tie, cover it with a cotton cloth then press on a low setting.
You can steam your tie to remove serious wrinkles. Hang it in the bathroom while showering or hold it over a boiling pot of water but do not let it touch the water.
Do not let any cologne get on your tie. It can damage its colour.
If it get stained do not rub it. It will cause abrasions and will loss its color. Instead blot the affected area and let it dry. Then, gently scrape the surface with a smooth cloth end or rub the small end of the tie on the stain.
If it gets more serious stains, use a spot remover or other mild cleaning agents. However, test it first on an old cloth or in an inconspicuous area (like, the back of your tie) to make sure the remover won't damage the tie.
Put a cover on your tie when you eat or prepare to replace it when it gets soiled.
